Application of Stimuli-Induced Intramolecular Charge Transfer: Control of Binding
Binding is of fundamental importance to supramolecular assemblies. The ability to modulate binding will enable the design of novel stimulus-responsive molecular assemblies. We employ proton-induced and metal-induced intramolecular charge transfer in donor-bridge-acceptor systems to achieve this goal.
