Research Interests

We have been interested in developing electro-optic materials and materials for molecular electronics, and studying the relevant physical properties. The following areas are of particular interest to us: (1) organic light-emitting diodes; (2) photovoltaics; (3) organic field-effect transistors; (4) two-photon absorption and optical-limiting; (5) near-infrared absorbing dyes; (6) nano-sized organic/inorganic hybrid materials.
